This book became an instant favorite that I now go to whenever I’m feeling sad and just need a little pick me up. It has all the things that I love in a rom com 1. Sassy female lead 2. Actual real human emotions and realistic expectations 3. Laugh out loud dialogue 4. A couple worth cheering for 5. High quality smooches (because let’s be honest they are my favorite part of any rom com) I love that we get to show up in Nicholas and Naomi’s story right smack in the middle. A few months before they are supposed to get married, about 10 months into living together, and right around the time they both realize that they are miserable because they never really showed each other who they truly were. Cue the widely inappropriate and slightly childish behaviors as they both begin searching for ways to get the other to call off the wedding.
