You Deserve Each Other
This book became an instant favorite that I now go to whenever I’m feeling sad and just need a little pick me up.
It has all the things that I love in a rom com
1. Sassy female lead
2. Actual real human emotions and realistic expectations
3. Laugh out loud dialogue
4. A couple worth cheering for
5. High quality smooches (because let’s be honest they are my favorite part of any rom com)
I love that we get to show up in Nicholas and Naomi’s story right smack in the middle. A few months before they are supposed to get married, about 10 months into living together, and right around the time they both realize that they are miserable because they never really showed each other who they truly were.
Cue the widely inappropriate and slightly childish behaviors as they both begin searching for ways to get the other to call off the wedding. Which ultimately forces them into actual conversations about what they both want.
I am here for this book because it shows the characters both learning how to actually communicate with one another and build a real relationship. While I love all the dorky moments and the verbal sparring the growth of their relationship is probably why I gave this one a 5 star rating.
If you are looking for something that makes you laugh out loud and hits all those hopeless romantic feels you should for sure give this book a shot. Because while Naomi at times may only love Nicholas 19%, I love this story 100%
